ALEXIS RONAN (Lisa Varga)
Alexis is an atypical lawyer at a typical law firm in a typical town. She adopted a boy named Elijah on her own, later got married, advanced her career, made good money, got kinda famous and then it all went to hell when Elijah went missing. Her recurring hallucinations cloud her memory and the dark visions leave her wondering about her own involvement. She has made it her life’s mission to find Elijah, no matter what the cost or outcome. God help you if you get in her way, because, as it turns out, she is capable of anything.
MAX OTTENBERG (Tony Casale)
Max is an introverted sexual deviant that wants nothing more in life than a true friend. He battles his demons daily. Some days he wins. Some days he loses. He’s done horrible things and he’s just getting started. He is the primary suspect in Elijah Ronan’s missing persons case.
JAKE (Jeff Puckett)
Jake is the ex-husband of Alexis Ronan. He is on a path toward deep depression after Elijah goes missing and he is considered a person of interest. Jake has a temper. Sometimes it goes too far.
JOSH (Ewan Parker-Eaton)
Josh is the best friend of Alexis’s missing son, Elijah. He is the last person to have seen him alive and the police have been persistent in their investigation. His strict religious upbringing comes with dark secrets. He carries a burden no ten-year-old should endure.
ELIJAH (Jaiden Hidalgo)
Elijah is the adopted son of Alexis. He has been missing for a year.
DOUG (John Fenner Mays)
Doug is Max’s probation officer. Doug despises Max for what he believes Max has done and torments him with each visit. Doug thinks he is dominating Max, but Max is very crafty. Max knows of his daughter, Paisley.
FLORENCE (Jamie Newell)
Florence is Max’s ailing mother who seems to be permanently embedded in her La-Z-Boy. She doesn’t love her own son and constantly rejects his pleas for affection. Max always brings her a unique gift, which the audience will eventually find to be horrifying. She’s created a monster.
JOSIE (Kim DeJesus)
The younger thirty-something sister of Alexis. She’s the artsy one and is the only person Alexis can be truly open with. She was raised by her older sister after their parents died of separate causes. Josie raises two daughters as a single parent.
RUTH (Joyce Porter)
An older fragile psychic with a bird obsession. She claims to truly have some kind of ability. Alexis is just desperate enough to give Ruth a visit.
EUGENE (Michael Ehlers)
Eugene is Josh’s father and strict disciplinarian by religious decree. He makes sure his household plays along with upholding the illusion of a perfect family. They are far from it.
GERALDINE (Adria Dawn)
Geri is Josh’s mother. She is desperately trying to hold together a very, very dysfunctional family while protecting her son from the police, bullies, neighbors, even his own father.
RUSSELL (Brendan Sullivan)
The older bother of Josh. He’s dad’s favorite, but soon he’s forced to take sides and risk losing his father’s admiration.
CHASE (David Goodloe)
Chase is the only reporter that is sympathetic to Alexis, who has been outcast by the community. He eventually becomes a love interest to Alexis.
MAIN REPORTER (Emily Bentley)
Emily is the reporter who broke the news about Max’s verdict. She’s particularly hard on Alexis during interviews.

Brenda is a middle-aged woman being represented by Alexis in a divorce proceeding. She’s a condescending bitch. She’s also a powerful businesswoman and she has an interesting secret.
Roger (Joel Moses)
Roger is the soon-to-be ex-husband of Brenda. He’s an eccentric artist with a flare for the dramatic and odd presentation.
JIM (Sam Potter)
Jim is the opposition attorney representing Roger in the divorce proceeding. He’s handsome, sharp and seems to actually have a conscience.
